ACADEMIC
SUPPORT SYSTEM
In PSU Integrated
Schools- High School Departemnt, they go to great lengths to make sure that
each student has every opportunity to succeed. They provide different learning
centers in order to develop all areas of a child's development. from subjects
that follow the curriculum, especially in grade eaigh they are still learning
science, social and art where later they are able to find or find their
abilities.
TEACHING
SYSTEM
The
teacher system PSU Integrated Schools- High School
Departemnt, they focused to how the student can get the affective, psikomotor,
and cognitive. In the lesson plan for subject learning they really focused on
that 3 aspect. From my observation and when I discuss with the other the
teacher use the teacher center system.
MATERIAL
AND OTHER LEARNING SOURCES
The learning materials
and other learning sources of this school were crafted by the teachers.
Personally, I can say that the materials that were used are very good and
durable. the other learning sources from the school, they have DLP. in the
class the teacher use puzzle, cartolina, clay and etc.
MEASUREMENT
AND EVALUATION SYSTEM
The school's evaluation and measurement
system are assessed through observations, anecdotal records, portfolios,
and checklists. They do use worksheets or traditional assessments.
CURRICULUM
Curriculum can
have multiple meanings, though the term generally describes, in some form or
another, the learning experiences students have in the classroom. Curriculum
can refer to:
·
the
courses or subjects students study in school
·
the
general learning goals and activities for a course, set of courses, or grade
level
·
the
specific learning objectives or standards to be mastered
K-12 Curriculum is
the curriculum that used in PSU integrtated schools- Highg School Dept. K-12
Curriculum as a general educational term typically refers to the content being
taught and the learning experiences students have in the school setting in
grades kindergarten through twelve. Now let's look at some more specific ways
in which curriculum can be defined.
COURSES OR
SUBJECTS TAUGHT
In a broad
sense, K-12 Curriculum can refer to the courses or subjects taught in school. For example, in the early
elementary or primary grades, the curriculum usually includes courses in
reading, writing, and mathematics. It may also include courses in social
studies, science, music, art, and/or physical education. In high school, the
subjects taught may be more specialized, like algebra, art history, Latin,
orchestra, or biology.
LEARNING
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
More
commonly in the field of education, K-12 Curriculum refers to the learning objectives and
activities taught across grade levels. An example of a general learning
objective for grades K-12 is for students to become proficient readers of
grade-level appropriate text.
